In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain The snapping sound of people pushing buttons, the flashing lights of cameras that were pointed at her, designers and photographers saying to pose a certain way, all this surrounded Taylah. She bent her body forward, making a sexy pose that sends the photographers into a flurry. Trying to take as many good pictures as they can in the short amount that's given always does that to them.
Taylah Maine was posing for some kind of pictures that were going to be shown in a commercial. It was for some beauty care commercial. They were some unknown company that was trying to make a breakthrough with their products, so Taylah didn't know who it was that she was acting for. She wouldn't know until tomorrow. That's when she was going to act out the commercial, probably with some other girls that had gotten a part of this advertisement too. She was a little unsure about this whole thing, since she hadn't really gotten to know what she was advertising or going to be doing. This was all her manager's work, hooking her up with businesses and shows that were willing to give Taylah a chance to show what she can do.
"Alright, Taylor, take five. Good job!" the photographer said, saying her name wrong once more. This was probably about the tenth time within the last two hours that he's done that. Luckily, his assistant was a little better at keeping track of her name. Shyly, the assistant corrected his boss. "Oh, I'm sorry, Taylah," the boss said with that attitude that Taylah hated so much. "Anyways, take five." With that said the photographer took off. The assistant cast Taylah an apologetic smile and hurried after his boss.
"Some people," the young Taylah Maine grumbled under her breath. She stepped out from in front of the blue background that she had been standing in front of. They were suppose to put some kind of picture in the background after she was done posing for the company. Her small black dress clung to her body, showing off the best parts of her body. It was complimented by some cute heels that she wore too. Overall, the outfit was simple but beautiful.
She went over to where the bottled waters were and picked one up. It was cold from sitting in the cooler this whole time. Taylah brought the bottle to her mouth and took a long drink. The refreshment felt against her dry throat. She jumped when she heard someone clear their throat, trying to get her attention. The young actress/model turned around, facing her manager. After listening to her manager talk about how amazing this company and opportunity, Taylah nodded her agreement. "Yes, it is, but," lowering her voice, "why did they have that photographer? He's so..." Taylah's voice trailed off. She waved her water bottle in a circle, trying to think of the right words. She was startled when her manager snapped at her for saying such stuff. With an angry growl, a mumble about how young people don't realize how lucky they are, and how managers work their butts off for those young people, Taylah's manager stomped off.
The actress/model stood there, stunned. Her and her manager usually got along usually. She must have some kind of friendship with that guy,
Taylah thought to herself. The idea that her manager was hooking up with guys like that made Taylah cringe. That moment passed quickly, though, because the photographer was back. He wagged his finger at Taylah, signaling her to get in position. Taylah placed her water down and walked over to the background. The black and blue colors contracted, but yet, seemed to unite in a wonderful way. It was simple, but beautiful... Word Count: 666 Notes: Sorry, I babble a lot. I hope someone replies! A soft chuckle escaped the teen's lips when the fishing line attached to a five-dollar bill casually dropped out of his jeans pocket. Casting a glance around, he had awhile before he would start to model for some reason, oh right, his new and upcoming movie. Funsies, he thought quietly to himself, before casually sitting somewhere where he was moderately hidden. Noticing his manager/agent, Lucas approach, his fingers tentatively coiled around the mostly invisible string on the five-dollars. The man arched an eyebrow and went to pick it up, stifling a snicker, the black-haired male jerked the line, and the bill jerked itself out of the man's hands. Wide-eyed, the man groaned and dropped it, moving on to where he was probably hoping he was. Grinning, dark eyes then paused when he noticed someone else doing a photo shoot here as well. It was amusing how well they could separate others, then he realized with a pang, they'd probably be taking him outside for something too. Sighing softly, he then ran a hand through his hair and stood up, safely putting the line and dollar bill in his pants which were hanging up nice and neat. Don't worry, he was in jeans, just designer jeans. When Lucas spotted him, he darted over, "Ok now, you know what we want? We want playful, yet secretive. Like you got your hand caught in the cookie jar by an older sibling." What the hell? he thought quietly to himself. What was it with Lucas and his analogies?
Allowing a light smile to plaster itself over his lips, he nodded, and headed over to a separated part of the Red Room and tensed when the hair and make-up people flipped out. His hair! One squealed, before promptly fixing it. Wide-eyed, he remained still, unable to hide a smile, before he then tilted his head, "How does it look?"
The photographer, whose sexuality he was beginning to question, with short hair, spoke, her voice ringing out, "I want...edgy. Bring it to me!" Chuckling, he paused when someone reached over and flung out his shirt, making it all opened in the front. Did they even want him to wear one? Shrugging it off, he just wanted it done, placing his hand on his hip, he jutted it out, sliding a playful smile onto his features, one he had perfected over the years. Suddenly, Lucas, he noticed as he pulled on a jacket and another shirt while they brought in a freaking horse for him to model with. Frowning, he held the bridle quietly, before then, Lucas approached the brunette's manager, "Hello, you work with Taylah Maine, yes?" Lucas greeted the woman politely, "She and my friend, Anthony are doing a commercial together, for both a product as well as a cause, when would you like them to work together?" Unfortunately while Lucas toyed with his future, Anthony had to keep this jet black horse behaved. Why the hell did they bring it to the Red Room? Hiding a growl, he muttered something in Navajo, his grandmother's language, before lifting his eyes to meet the camera, and the photographer practically melting at that picture. Ignoring her pleas and begs for something else, Anthony let them guide the huge horse away. Even with him he felt small next to that thing. Heading over to where the brunette was about to start taking pictures again, he grinned deviously, and winked towards her. Oh, he knew this photographer..all too well. Sauntering over by his side, Anthony then darted into the shot, hugging Taylah, smiling towards the camera. "Oh my gosh! Taylah!" he squealed, making his voice high. Lucas, horrified growled towards him, and Anthony jumped out of the shot, chuckling, "C'mon, you know you want to sell this product, yes? To make it appeal to everyone, instead of just flirty shots, why not something fun? We want them to think they'll have fun using it." he arched an eyebrow, dark eyes landing on the brunette quietly, as Lucas commented, attempting to clean up the mess he'd suddenly made - unable to help himself, "Well...then shall they start working together?" Anthony paused, one hand in his back pocket, and casually walked by her, whispering, "Just trying to save...both of us from this." he shrugged, and turned to Lucas and the girl's manager. ▐ T A G G E D » TAYLAH ▐ W O R D S » E N O U G H ▐ O U T F I T » CLICK ▐ L Y R I C S » PANIC AT THE DISCO ▐ N O T E S » ENJOY. In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain The photographer shouted orders, making Taylah move everywhere that was possible. When it came to some of the positions, she didn't know why they were so serious. It's makeup! It's suppose to be cute, beautiful, and fun,
Taylah thought to herself. When that thought crossed her mind, she made a face, showing her disgust. For that little mistake, the over-the-top photographer snapped at her. Taylah restrained herself from rolling her eyes. Her manager, Lysa, had told her to fake her happiness and suck it up. Glancing around, she say Lysa talking with another guy. Taylah assumed it was another manager or designer that Lysa was friendly with. Again, Taylah refused to show her slight shiver. "Hey, hey honey, over here! The flashing camera that is trying to make you money and famous is over this way!" Taylah looked over to see her picture dude was standing straight up, holding the camera in his right hand and have his left hand on his hip, and tapping his foot impatiently and annoyingly. "Sorry..." Taylah mumbled under her breath a little more after her apology. She faced the camera and tried to focus, reframing from lunging at this guy that seriously needed an attitude check. She was trying to keep her smile while posing with this makeup product. The stuff was starting to give her a major headache. Something grabbed her from her side. The movement startled Taylah. "What the-" Taylah cut her sentence off, not wishing to curse. She looked around wondering what was going on. Then, she heard a guy squeal. It was obvious he was fooling around, trying to lighten the mood. Had it been that appearent that she was getting overly aggrevated that they had to send in somebody to try to cheer her up? Wow, that's pathetic. The thought no sooner formed in her head when her bipolar photographer shouted to the guy to get off his set. The guy that had came up and hugged her stepped off the photo shoot slightly. She heard him say something, but it was drowned out by the grumbling and yelling by the camera guy. She felt eyes on her. Turning, she saw the guy that had inturrupted the shot. His dark hair, eyes, and skin could make anybody jealous. He could probably put most girls under his spell in a heartbeat... Taylah shook her head slightly, adverting her eyes from his. Most girls except me, she added on to her last thought. She wasn't easily sweaped off her feet by guys. She had always been teased about that by her older brother. However, when she did get a little crush, Christian always made sure that the guy was good enough for his little sister. Although Christian can be a typical annoying older brother, he was more protective that most. When it came to their abusive and drunk Mother, he was more protective than usual. Living with their Mom made them closer than most siblings would be. Taylah had to thank her mom for that. She heard the other manager say something about getting started on something. Taylah didn't know that she had something else to do today. Lysa hadn't mentioned that part in the plans. She assumed that she was going to be doing it with the guy that sent the photographer into a rampage. Looking around slightly, the young actress/model could see that the assistant was trying to calm his fuming boss down. The sound of a voice close to her made Taylah jump. Turning she saw the, what she was assuming was an actor or model, walk by her. She had heard what he said. A small smile pulled at her lips. She was grateful to this guy. Hopefully they won't have to have that same photographer shooting for their pictures. "Thank you," Taylah said quietly and shyly. "Um, no offense, but I didn't know we were doing anything. Uh, what's your name?" Taylah waited for an answer, hoping she didn't sound too stupid... Word Count: 730 Notes: Thankies for replying! Backing off the way of the over-the-top photographer, he couldn't help but attempt to hold back a chuckle. That failed. He just let it roll out from his lips, and the black-haired guy held up his hands innocently in the "I surrender" motion, grinning towards the brunette, then apologized to the photographer, placing his hand over his heart, "I do apologize, I just couldn't restrain myself."
he spun playfully, before the hair girl approached him, and handed him a rose, winking, and Anthony paused, making sure when the photographer was busy for a moment, he waltzed up towards the girl, and tucked the rose into a light stand so that the shadow rested on her eyes, letting her know it was there. Grinning sheepishly, he backed off as Lucas approached him, "Well, Lysa, the doll is letting us do it, though there seems to have been some miscommunication, it seems that only you were aware of the set-up this company wanted, they didn't inform your co-model." Pausing, the teen shrugged and mused, stuffing both his hands into the pockets of the jeans he was wearing, "So? Let's just get it done, I'm starved, and you know how I get when I'm hungry." Nodding towards Lysa politely, Anthony looked towards the brunette he had hugged, just for kicks. Grinning lightly towards her, he nodded his head down in an acknowledging movement, before Lucas pulled him aside, "Fine, since we're doing this, only 50 frames, all right? Then you can eat." Beaming, Anthony rushed up towards the photographer, flexing his arms, grinning, "Sorry...you gotta deal with me for 50 frames." He winked, wondering if this guy was as easy to get in a rampage as it appeared. Backing off, he'd like to keep his head on his shoulders, the guy turned towards the girl while Lucas spoke with Lysa and the photographer for a few moments, before he reached up and handed her the rose silently, then heard her gentle voice speak, he tuned in, listening intently to what she had to say. At her thanks, Anthony nodded solemnly before responding, "You're very welcome, Taylah." he bowed his head politely, his calmer demeanor appearing now, until they flashed the camera their way that is. As they continued talking, Anthony heard her ask for his name. He waved his hand, "Don't worry about it, I'm not offended. The name's Anthony, you can call me that or Jack, middle name's Jackson. Or..you could be like Lucas who likes to call me Anthony Jackson." he grinned weakly. Eying the photographer silently, Anthony ruffled his black hair, receiving a dark look from the assistant, though she didn't say anything, before the photographer groaned and snarled something about Lucas always getting him into these types of situations. Chuckling softly, Lucas then looked to Taylah, "I'm going to grab something to eat after this, care to join me, Miss Taylah?" ▐ T A G G E D » TAYLAH ▐ W O R D S » E N O U G H ▐ O U T F I T » CLICK ▐ L Y R I C S » PANIC AT THE DISCO ▐ N O T E S » HEHE, DONE. <3 I WOULDN'T MIND A PHOTO SHOOT WITH T. In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain Taylah nodded, showing that she understood. "Um, I'll just call you Anthony. You could call me Tay if you want..."
She glanced at her manager, seeing that she was in a deep conversation with Anthony's manager. She looked at the photographer that seemed to be getting ready for another shot. "We're gonna have to deal with him again," she mumbled under her breath. She had prayed that he would have refused to do the photo shoot because of Anthony running in. "Cuz when a heart breaks, no, it don't break even, even. No. So what am I suppose to do when the best part of me was always you, and what am I suppose to say when I'm all chocked and you're ok. I'm falling to pieces, yeah. I'm falling to pieces." The ringtone sounded through the building, ricoshading off of the walls. Taylah cringed at how loud her cell phone was. She saw people looking around, trying to find the source of the noise that had interrupted the silence. She looked at Anthony, apologized quickly, and raced toward her bag. Reaching her hand in it, her skin touched the coolness of the Iphone. Pulling it out quickly, she glanced at who had attempted to call her, although the ringtone had given that away already. Yes, her Father had attempted to contact. That did surprise her. She loved her Dad, but he wasn't the best at keeping in touch with his oldest children, especially his oldest daughter. Sighing deeply, she tucked her phone back into the bag. She would call after the photo shoot and find out what her Dad had wanted. Probably to brag about Elizabelle, Taylah thought to herself. The jealously in her thoughts shocked herself. She loved Elizabelle, but the pain and hurt that came with knowing that her Father probably loved that little ten year old girl more than his oldest daughter made her heart strings cry out. Sighing, she walked back over to the background. The photographer stood there tapping his foot, looking impatient. Going up to Anthony, she said, "I'm sorry. It was a call from home..." That was the only explanation that she was going to give. The pain and anger that filled her body threatened to explode already. Hoping that her emotions won't show in the pictures, Taylah pasted on a fake smile. She glanced at Anthony, wondering if he suspects anything. Word Count:435 Notes: Sorry, it's really bad. Anthony recognized her name faintly, like he had seen it somewhere before. He probably had, but he wouldn't be able to do anything about it till he saw her face again. Damn him and his horrible memory sometimes. Refusing to let that show, he listened curiously to her when she spoke about him being able to call her Tay. Grinning, he nodded, "Pleasure, Tay."
Spotting Lucas, with his infamous Blackberry out, he thought of his Sidekick somewhere, then remembered it was in his original pants. Frowning slightly, he then shifted silently, and turned his attention to Tay when she spoke about having to deal with him - meaning the photographer - again. Anthony shrugged and responded, one hand in the front pocket of his jeans, "So? At least it isn't alone." He winked, and his attention faltered from Tay to the photographer who had approached them again looking...somewhat calmer, now that he had two people to deal with though, Anthony could see the pulsing of a vein in his temple. Resisting the urge to mess with him, Anthony took off the jacket, revealing a short-sleeved plain white t-shirt. Tossing it aside, he inquired, "What's the background? Just plain white or what?" Lucas shot him a look from the background and spoke, sounding...agitated, "Just white for now, if the company asks, we'll go outside, but for right now, just talking is in a white background." Suddenly seeing the two cue cards they each had to say, Anthony arched an eyebrow, and looked from his shirt to the background, and chuckled, before the woman from before handed him his jacket back. He muttered a thanks and slid it back on, adjusting the collar once he had done so. A phone went off, Anthony noticed the ring tone definitely wasn't his, and he looked around, smiling sheepishly towards the photographer who he worried mostly if the guy was going to have a melt down or not. Standing there quietly, he shrugged at her apology, "Don't worry about it, though make sure to apologize to Genghis here." As Tay approached the background again, Anthony ruffled his black hair quietly, before he then shrugged, and looked to the camera guy, arching an eyebrow, "Give me fun, give me...wonderful!" The guy snapped a photo of Anthony with his head tilted slightly, a puzzled look on his face, awesome picture, he thought quietly to himself. Shaking his head, he then spun and hugged Taylah again, making it so she could hug him back if she wanted, smiling playfully towards the camera, noticing Tay's face, Anthony poked her cheek, "Smile the gorgeous smile, Tay." he chuckled. Dark eyes locked onto the camera, before he then produced the rose from his back pocket, and offered it to Taylah, the photographer taking a few frames of that - for some odd reason. Once Tay accepted or denied the rose, Anthony turned to Taylah, "You want to get some food after this, Tay?" He ignored any jabs from the photographer, he had bigger fish to fry. ▐ T A G G E D » TAYLAH ▐ W O R D S » E N O U G H ▐ O U T F I T » CLICK ▐ L Y R I C S » PANIC AT THE DISCO ▐ N O T E S » O.O THAT WAS HORRIBLE. In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain Taylah smiled. The flashing of the cameras were kind of blinding, but by now she was use to it. Her smile wasn't one that she usually had on, one that showed that she was truly happy. This was one of those I'm-gonna-smile-so-that-I-don't-have-photograph-dude-yell-at-me smiles. She wasn't really in a good mood. Unlike most teens who would be ecstatic to hear from home, it made Taylah more depressed. No, actually it made her worried that something had happened back home. Yes, that's more like what she was feeling. Trying even more to hid this fact, she smiled greater. Think about something that makes you happy,
Taylah told herself. She knew that within the next few seconds that smile would be replaced by a frown. That wouldn't look very good for whatever they were advertising for. It didn't take long though, for a real smile to paint itself across her lips. Seeing the rose was like a breath of fresh air. Roses were her favorite flower and reminded her of the flower garden that she use to run through when she was little. Accepting the flower from Anthony, she bowed her head slightly. A sheepish smile and pink cheeks spread across her face. Taylah wasn't sure where he had gotten the flower, but hey, it was nice. Makeup people probably told them to do this so that it would look good in the pictures. She lifted the flower to her nose and smelled it. The fresh scent made Taylah relax slightly. Looking up at Anthony, smiling her true actual smile, she thanked him for the flower. Hearing his question, she looked at the camera. Fighting with herself inside her head, she finally settled on it. "Sure! I mean, if you don't mind me coming along..." Taylah stood there playing with the end of a strand of hair smiling. "A little more wonderful! A little more...greatness! More lovey-dovey stuff! Hello, camera over here!" The photographer yelled at them. Turning slightly, Taylah tilted her head and smiled sweetly. "Someone, shut this guy up," Taylah said through clenched teeth. She moved a little closer to Anthony, wanting to block out the photographer's words. Not knowing what else to say, Taylah looked at him. Her midnight blue eyes watched him, wondering what he'd say or do next. Word Count: 424 Notes: Whatcha talking about? You're post was A-MA-ZING! Looking to the girl he had to work with quietly, Anthony arched a dark eyebrow towards her plastered on smile. Oh yes, the infamous fake smile. Grinning sheepishly, he reached out and touched the corners of her lips, seeing a flash going off on the camera, "Aww...be happy!"
he smiled cheesily, unable to help himself. He felt...happy for some odd reason. That was weird. Pausing slightly, the male turned back to the photographer and flexed, looking towards Taylah, laughing quietly before dropping his hands as she accepted the rose he had offered her. Smiling politely, Anthony mused, "For someone the rose can get jealous of." he winked, and noticed the camera was taking pictures still, quite rapidly too, seeming to like what was going on up here. Anthony looked to Taylah quietly, looking to the camera once in awhile as well, staying close to Tay so that they were always both in the shot together, not wanting to make it so either he or she was alone in the shots. At her thanks, he replied solemnly, "You're very welcome, Tay." Dark eyes watched her quietly, as if attempting to figure out what was going on in that pretty head of hers. Ok, he'd admit, she was gorgeous, but his lips remained sealed shut. Never in a 100 years would he tell her that - kidding - he would. Anthony wasn't any stranger to flirting, but it came right down to a girl he thought he would definitely like to get to know better than just a business friend, he always thought it out first. With Tay, for Tay - he would. Remaining silent, he perked when she responded to his dinner invite. Beaming, Anthony didn't care about the photographer anymore, he was thrilled Tay had accepted it. Not bothering to hide his smile, Anthony frowned slightly, brows knitting together and immediately responded, "Oh no! No, I definitely don't mind you coming along, Tay. I did invite you." he winked, his voice calm and joyful. With both of his hands in his pockets, he hardly heard the photographer ask for more lovey-dovey stuff, and the clenched words escaping Taylah's lips, he grinned and wrapped an arm around Tay's waist, throwing a look and sheepish smile towards the photographer, "That's close enough to 50 frames, we gotta dash." he grinned, hardly letting the photographer finish taking some more photos, as Anthony turned to Tay, "You good to go?" he inquired, wanting to make sure she had everything, he paused, and looked down to the clothes they had asked him to wear, his original clothes were in the changing room. Sighing, he spoke, breaking off some of the rose's stem for Tay so she could put it behind her ear easier, "You can get your phone and stuff if you'd like...it won't take me very long to change." He gave her a side-hug, letting the photographer stand up straight, signaling he was finished with the frames. Chuckling softly, releasing her, he spoke, holding up a finger towards her, "By the way, no trying to sneak a payment for the dinner...it's all on me, down to the tip." ▐ T A G G E D » TAYLAH ▐ W O R D S » E N O U G H ▐ O U T F I T » CLICK ▐ L Y R I C S » PANIC AT THE DISCO ▐ N O T E S » <33 THERE YOU ARE. In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain Taylah nodded her head. She looked down at her outfit. She still needed to change too. Just like Anthony, her clothes were in one of the dressing rooms too. "I still need to change too," Taylah said. She started to walk off the photo shoot. Hearing the photographer start cursing, she grinned slightly. At least she knew that she wasn't the number one most hated person on that guy's list. I think Anthony stole that spot from the beginning. Grinning wider, she went to her bag. Grabbing the handles of the bag, a clunking sound came. Looking down, she saw that her phone again decided to make a reappearance. Sighing heavily, she reached down and picked up the object. A slight tap on the screen showed three more missed calls. Two of them were from Christian and one more from her Dad. Christian must know something about why Dad is trying to call,
Taylah told herself. After a silent second of though, she shrugged her shoulders and placed the phone back in the bag. They can wait...Going back towards the dressing room where her original clothes lay, she pondered what could be so important that both her big brother and father could be calling. Has something happened to Elizabelle? The idea scared Taylah. She could be slightly jealous of her baby step-sister, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love her. Isn't sibling rivalry suppose to be in the family anyways? Yeah, so she has a right to be loving, but yet jealous. Settling on calling Christian after her little lunch break with Anthony, Tay grabbed her original clothes that had been tossed over the head of a chair and raced into an empty changing station. Throwing off the tight black dress, she rested it on a single hanger that was on a hook. After getting her clothes on, she went to the nearest mirror, checked her hair and makeup, and was out of there. Taylah spotted her manager close to an exit door. Going slowly over to Lysa, she told her that she was going to go to lunch with Anthony. She blushed when Lysa made that flirty sound and winked at her. Yes, her manager had been trying to hook her client up with some hot guy for quite a long time. Explaining to her over-flirtatious manager that it wasn't a date or anything and that it was just friends hanging out and getting to know each other, made Taylah blush even brighter. Lysa started nagging Tay about how she needs to get a personal life outside the business and blah blah blah. Taylah has heard this speech several times. If she wanted to, she could quote it word for word with all the animation in between. Not wanting to get another lecture for being rude or disrespectful, the actress/model stood there trying to block out Lysa's voice. "I do have a personal life, thank you very much," Taylah snapped back. "I just don't have the time to be involved with someone and start a relationship. Besides, I haven't found any guy that I'd actually halfway consider dating..." She cringed when her manager scoffed and shook her head. Hearing Lysa say something unintelligible, Taylah turned around and stalked away. "Managers!" she whispered, exaggerating a little. Looking at the cameras that had been taking her and Anthony's pictures, she sighed again. Life certainly was complicated and filled with drama. She just hoped that she could leave that kind of life behind while she's eating with Anthony Word Count: 690 Notes: Hope you have fun while you away! Watching Tay as she looked down to the dress she was sporting for the photo shoot, Anthony couldn't help but grin when she said she had to change too. He could only imagine what would happen if she'd gone out wearing the dress. Not that he wouldn't mind, but he didn't know how he'd react if he saw someone - no! He cut himself off, as he looked to one of the makeup girls who sauntered over to him, her lanky form, handing him his clothes, "See you in a few then."
he flashed a short grin, as he got a call from his grandfather. For some reason though, his grandfather didn't like to speak to him in English, but in his original language (his grandfather's, not his), which was DinĂ©, or Navajo for people who didn't speak it. "Anthony, my grandson, I wanted to call and invite you to my birthday this weekend." Struggling in the dressing room, Anthony placed his Sidekick down and put him on speakerphone, responding in Navajo, partially glad no one would probably be able to understand them here, "Sure...I think I have some filming, but I can definitely come by Grand-dad. When?" He could practically hearing his grandfather's smile through the phone, as he changed, hitting the wall and laughing at himself from losing his balance, before he heard his grandfather Edward say about it being this Sunday at 1:00 in the afternoon. Nodding, Anthony picked up his phone once he was done changing, "Yeah, I'll be there." Before he managed to hang up, Grandfather managed to sneak in a, "bring-a-girl" speeches before hanging up. Growling quietly, Anthony placed his phone in his back pocket on his jeans, before spraying his hair with some product that helped get rid of the hardened gel in his hair. Shaking his head as he left the dressing room, it felt nice to be able to know his hair could move - despite it being short. But either way. Dark eyes landed on Tay speaking to her manager, he would let her finish, before Lucas approached him, beaming, "You did wonderful up there, Anthony. Did you have fun?" He produced his Blackberry while Anthony just shrugged, not wanting to bother with anything right now but going out to lunch with Tay. Throwing an innocent grin towards the photographer, Anthony saw the artery in his neck, chuckling, he approached Tay as she seemed to finish snapping towards her manager. Arching a dark eyebrow, he looked to her quietly, and excused himself into their conversation, and inquired, "You ready to go?" He bowed his head politely towards her manager, Lysa. Eying Taylah gently, Anthony offered her his arm, as if he would be escorting her. Once they started to head out, he spoke, "Would you prefer to walk or ride?" He grinned. Glad he was out of those weird shoes and back in his own, he double-checked for his wallet. Just what he needed - to forget the blasted thing when he was taking a girl somewhere. No, not just any girl. Tay was gorgeous, though he kept himself restrained, a thought drifted silently around in his head. Noticing it, he latched onto it, silently smiling to himself. Oh yes, he certainly hoped to get her mind off of modeling and what-ever else she did while she was with him. Deviously smiling, though playfully under there as well, he mused, "So...do you just model? Wait...nevermind, I've seen you in...Charmed or something, yes? You were with that blonde...Bliss or something." He grinned sheepishly, then realized how weird it must be, then quickly explained, "Oh...I have younger cousins...it's usually either watch TV with them or lose my phone and car keys." he shuddered, then focused his attention solely on Tay, "Do you have any siblings?" ▐ T A G G E D » TAYLAH ▐ W O R D S » E N O U G H ▐ O U T F I T » CLICK CLICK FOR NEW CLOTHES ▐ L Y R I C S » PANIC AT THE DISCO ▐ N O T E S » THANKS! In the middle of September We'd still play out in the rain Nothing to lose But everything to gain Taylah was thankful when Anthony cut into her and Lysa's little battle. Not knowing how long he had been standing there, she bowed her head slightly. She felt her cheeks start to burn, heart pounding at the idea that he had heard their whole conversation. The thought made herself feel embarrassed. She didn't want to think about what he was thinking if he had heard. Praying that she was over-exaggerating and Anthony hadn't heard what they had been talking about, she raised her head slightly. Taylah glanced at the arched eyebrow that he was giving her. She shook her head slightly. Wow, if he asks what we were talking about, I'll have to lie my butt off. No way am I going to tell him that my manager is trying to hook me and him up, especially when there's no way he's interested in me. He probably already has a girlfriend. I mean, with his looks he's definitely in a relationship...
Taylah's constant mind talking calmed herself down a little. Her thoughts stopped running when it looked like Anthony was going to say something. Slapping herself mentally, Taylah screamed at herself for showing any kind of expressions that had flashed across her face. When hearing his questions, Taylah half-smiled. She was trying to appear like nothing was going through her mid. It wasn't working out well for her. "Um, I don't really have a preference. It's whatever you wanna do." She looped her arm through his timidly. She started walking towards the exit that she had spotted earlier. When she heard Anthony start speaking again, she looked at him with her blue eyes. Surprised that Anthony had recognized her from when she guest-starred on Charmed with Bliss, Taylah nodded her head. Smiling sweetly, she replied, "Yeah, I did a commercial and guest-starred with Bliss. I'm surprised you actually remember that..." Stopping, she glanced at her bag for a moment, being reminded to enjoy this while she still could because once she was out of sight of Anthony, there would be a storm brewing over the horizon involving her family. Not wanting to reveal that something was troubling her, Taylah quickly started walking once again. "And yes, I do have a couple siblings. I have an older brother named Christian and a little stepsister named Elizabelle...You said you had to watch TV with your cousins, so does that mean you don't have any siblings?" Taylah thought about what life would be like without Elizabelle or Christian, especially her brother. She's only spent ten years with Elizabelle, but her whole life has been with Christian. Realizing quickly that her life wouldn't be worth living without the older sibling, she made a mental note to call Christian as soon as she could to thank him for everything he's done. He'll probably think this celebrity lifestyle has gotten to me, or that I'm dying...Either way, he'll be freaked out...That will be an interesting call, Taylah thought to herself. Catching herself before she got to involved with her thoughts, Taylah hurriedly covered her facial expressions so that nobody would be able to realize what was going on behind that head of hers. "I can't imagine a life without Christian, even if I tried. Who knows where I'd be if it wasn't for him. I know for certain that I wouldn't be here, and that a woman wouldn't have a husband. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Christian's married. It's a very small detail, well I guess it's not small. But, um..." She let her voice trail off. She always babbled when she was starting to get nervous. That was something that Christian had always teased her about. He had always told her it ran in the family blood, which had made her feel a little better knowing that it wasn't just her. Now, she mentally kicked herself for appearing like such a babbling idiot. Wanting to concentrate on enjoying this night, Taylah ignored the nervous knot that was wrapping itself up in her stomach, and looked at Anthony. Word Count: 734 Notes: I think that babbling thing must run in my blood too!
