It's all about respect around here. Do unto others what you want done unto you. Right? Therefore it’s a must that you be kind and respectful to the admins and the members.
two
If you have an issue with any member please don’t fight it out in the cbox. It’s rude and annoying and unwanted at LMM. Use PM, MSN, or message an admin to settle any and all problems. Not the cbox.
three
Around here what the admins say goes. We won’t abuse our power and bug you if you listen to the rules. However if the rules are ignored, you will be bugged by us.. Which translates into proper punishment, three strikes and your out, meaning you will be banned. So yeah, don’t make us admins do that to ya, just obey the rules, they make everything run smoothly.
four
To keep things orderly we ask that you have only one character per account. You can have unlimited characters, but be sure to keep them all active. Make sure you log in to all of your accounts at least every couple days so that they don’t get deleted.
five
Swearing. Yes, we do allow it here. No, we do not allow it in the cbox. IC swearing only please! Bad cbox language is well… bad. Bad IC language is often part of a character's well.. character… So yeah.. No to OOC swearing, Yes to IC swearing. However keep it literate! Illiteracy is unappreciated here at LMM.
six
Spamming is looked down on. Please don’t spam or advertise in the cbox. Advertising is for the advertising board, spamming belongs somewhere else. Not in the realm of LMM. Okay?
seven
Forms are meant to be filled out as given! Please don't edit the application, audition forms, face claims codes, ect. Just fill them out as stated. If you think they should be edited bring it up with an admin.
eight
This is a literate RPG game. Therefore you should have 250+ words per post. We have a word counter under all the posts, please put it to use.
nine
It's fairly common knowledge that the roleplaying world likes girls better than boys. So we ask that you have one male character for every two female characters. This is for original characters only! Does not apply for cannons. Got it?
ten
You are required to have a pb for your characters. It must be a person that is famous or semi-famous or whatever. So basically no random stock people, no people from your school, no using yourself, and no cartoon characters or anime/manga characters.
eleven
Signatures cannot stretch the page, under 550 pixels wide and 600 pixels tall!! That way you don't have to scroll for a mile to read the next post and the skin stays nice and pretty.
twelve
No god moding, power playing, or anything in that general category. No perfect characters, flaws are good. It makes them believable. Follow the common rules of roleplaying. Be literate, spell check is your new best friend, and all the other stuff you've heard before.
thirteen
Please welcome new members. Don't throw them the cold shoulder. That's bad. Be friendly and welcome them into the LMM family. It's appreciated and good for the site.
the closing speech
Repeat after me, "These rules are my friend and I will obey them while on LMM." Okay, you don't actually have to say it.. but please do follow the rules. Read the rules and obey the rules. Rule-following members are good, anti-rule members get banned for life. See the difference?
&& for the most important one..
Have fun! Turn your character into something believable and enjoyable. Their life is in your hands, mold it into what you wish. And have fun doing so!
the actual closing
As you probably already guessed these rules can (and probably will) be edited at any time. Generally you will be notified if it's to life altering, but please check this post every few weeks to make sure you haven't missed anything. It's appreciated. Thanks!
Love, the LMM Admins
